We enjoyed the Music costumes and atmosphere. Everything was excellent. We ate our food at the place across from the bells. My husband had chicken salad in a bread bowl and loved it. The lady who sat next to us also had the chicken salad in the bread bowl and was delighted. I had the Italian sandwich and it was wonderful. Everybody agreed the portions were more than satisfying. My only complaint is with so many wonderful vendors that I didn't want to carry the stuff around and there was no way to have everything sent to the gate to pick up when you were ready to leave.
Cool place. Although we went for the Oktoberfest theme, there were it 4 beers that we're being served. Good entertainment options. Jousting show at the end if the day was wonderful. If you are a big party, buy one ticket and enter. You might find some coupons inside at the entrance. Bring it back for rest of your party and enjoy!

One of my very favorite places to go! My family and I make this a tradition every year. So much fun. So many laughs and such good food!!!
tons of food from roast turkey legs to tasty treats. fun for kids and adults. bring your own flagon because the beer comes in tiny cups.
First time visit. Had a lot of fun! Lots of activities, great music-based and comedy shows (some R-rated so maybe keep the kids out), good food reasonably priced, and tons of crafts for those who like them. Lots of kids there, and they aren't ignored by the beautiful fairy and large wing-spanned golden egg-toting human owl. Was disappointed none of the vendors sold Scotch Eggs! Maybe next year? Not only were all the cast in Renaissance dress but a lot of visitors were as well, so don't be afraid to go big and show up in your finest. Overall a good time and worth the long drive up from WV and the tolls paid.
